Aristi Mountain Resort + Villas with Gallery 3 Portes

By emphasizing the effects of art—emotional, didactic, informative—eleven artists come together in methods of making and acting, in the name of a shared creative approach: the research process. The aim is to create a dynamic, open, and informal space, bringing together artistic perspectives in a new kind of dialogue of unpredictable contours.

This exhibition takes place simultaneously in two locations: the Atop at Aristi Mountain Resort + Villas in Aristi, and Gallery 3 Portes, in Ioannina.

The show features twenty works of art chosen by Efi Malamou from her father’s vast personal collection of over 500 works on paper, by some 100+ artists.

The School of Arts at University of Ioannina

The show is curated by CE_LAB and Vasilis Paspalis and allows to contextualise contemporary art both in terms of emerging considerations in artistic practice as well as appreciate a carefully selected display of some of Greece’s most auspicious nascent talent in the field.

The show is curated by Rania Stathopoulou, Konstantinos Papamichalopoulos and Gianna Kalogianni. Engraving Horizons offers a rare opportunity to explore etching, drypoint, woodblock, linoleum, and mixed media works in a single setting.
