Zagori 34 is as advertised: works of art created around the central theme of Zagori. Through the use of media including ceramic, mosaic, found object, metal, wood, paper, canvas, stone, and more, the works come together as single clues of a tangled ecological community. While no aesthetic parameters were given in anticipation of the show, one can assume the mutual affinities between the artists coming together for this collective display. The resulting weave showcases an array of identities fusing Aristi Cultural Initiative’s ethos of fostering past, present and future cultural heritage across the region of Zagori.
