Play, Taste & Wonder in Zagori

Exhibition: From 12 September 2025 in the Atop at Aristi Mountain Resort + Villas

Play, Taste & Wonder in Zagori celebrates the connection between place and tradition in one of Greece’s most ecologically and culturally unique regions. Centered on three elemental themes: mushrooms, wine, and wildflowers, the exhibition highlights how the region’s rich natural world continues to shape its cuisine, stories, and way of life.

Visitors will discover how local treasures and ingredients act as vessels of cultural memory, preserving centuries-old knowledge and traditions. The exhibition features interviews with local experts, insights into Zagori’s flora, and hands-on activities such as mushroom foraging; wine-pairing workshops; a honey tasting; and a reading of Greek folk songs.

Contributors include chef Vassilis Katsoupas, sommelier Spiridoula Tsirimiaggou, and beekeeper Eleni Plachoura.

With gratitude to Costas Zissis for his photography.
